Mondays (1/13, 1/27, 2/10, 2/24, 3/2, 3/9 and 3/16)

Students will learn the rules of chess along with some basic strategies. Mr. Applebee will start to work on more advanced strategies with the experienced kids. Each class will begin with a short lesson, and the kids will spend most of the time playing chess with their friends. The older kids will reinforce the chess skills by teaching and playing with the brand-new kids!
