Spring Celebration 2017

On April 20th from 6-10 PM, the Hyde Park School PTO will host its Fifth Annual Spring Celebration.

This event welcomes Hyde Park School parents, staff and community to celebrate

the accomplishments of our amazing school. This adult-only evening will feature live music,

a silent auction, a room basket raffle, a student art auction, a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres.

It is a great way to get to know other members of our wonderful community!

How can you help?

This event is Hyde Park School’s major fundraiser for the year.Β  All funds raised from this event will directly impact our children by bridging the gap between CPS funding and the needs of our students

as well as fund improvements to the school such as a new playground set.

Important Dates (Detailed information is forthcoming in Tuesday Folders.)

March 10th – Sponsorship deadline – Event tickets are included at ALL levels.

March 20th – Ticket sales begin – Event tickets will be $35 per person.

March 24th – Silent Auction item donation deadline

A note from our Athletic Director: I have received several emails concerning the cost of basketball for this year, and I wanted to make an effort to be transparent on this topic. This year’s registration fee is comprised of operating costs and a uniform cost. Nearly 70% for the registration is used to pay for gym fees, referee fees, league fees and custodial fees. These costs are unavoidable in order to play basketball. We are asking families to purchase a new uniform this year. While I understand that this would be the second consecutive year for this ask, this decision wasn’t approached lightly or without reason. This year we are making an effort to consolidate suppliers for our uniforms and spirit wear so that we can establish and maintain consistency in school colors and logos in both sports uniforms and school spirit wear. We are hoping that this will create a scale of economy effect for both Spirit Wear and sports uniforms as we move forward and grow.

SideKix Restaurant Night – Nov. 1-5

SideKix restaurant has offered to give back 25% of our food purchases from Nov. 1-5 to HPS. That’s right, five days (and nights). Please look for the flyer in your Tuesday folder.
Thank you for your support of our school and this local restaurant!
