One of the primary responsibilities of the HPS PTO is to fundraise in order to bridge the gap between CPS funding and the needs of our diverse group of students. The goal has always been to fundraise with a purpose and to try and organize events that not only raise money, but also build school community.
The HPS PTO is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible. All funds raised help us further support Hyde Park School in its mission of providing innovative learning to meet the needs all of students and creating an environment where students are happy to be at school. Specific funding goals can be found in our posted annual budget.

Interested in hosting a party for HPS Socials? Gather your hosts, pick a date and a theme, and fill out the planning form (online or print). The Socials team will set up the Eventbrite, promote your party, and sell the tickets so you can focus on the fun part!
Each month we partner with a different local restaurant. Families come together to share a meal, build community and raise funds for our school. A percentage of the total sales is given to HPS PTO.
The Book Fair is held in conjunction with the Read-a-thon during the month of October.
