June 9th marks the 5-year anniversary of Brian Kestner's wife and Jojo & Norah Kestner's Mom Gina, passing away from cancer. Over the past few months, Brian began organizing and sorting through his belongings, keeping only what he truly uses. In the process, he ended up with a large pile of "stuff" in the basement. He told his daughters that they could keep some of the money from a yard sale of the items, with the other half being donated to Gina’s favorite sarcoma cancer charity. Nothing at the sale will have a set price, and they will accept any offer. Below is a note his daughter wrote about the yard sale.Hi Facebook readers, I am Norah, and I am one of the 2 hosts (the other being Jojo, my sister) running the yard sale. We will be hosting our yard sale this Saturday, June 7th, at our house: 2880 Romana Place (which is in Oakley). This yard sale will be from 9am to 3pm. Hi all, Ashley Hammond here! I’m working with our Resource Coordinator to create an after school LEGO Club starting this Fall as an extracurricular! I’ll be volunteering for grades 4-6, but we are looking for a parent to volunteer for 1 hr a week after school for grades K-3. The goal would be to have about 15 kiddos for each session.So, we are ISO LEGO!! We do not need sets, just random pieces that these kiddos can get creative with… Please let me know if you have any you're willing to part with (free or cheap) and I can pick up ASAP. Thank you! ...
